Our hotel and the apartment house directly on Lake Klopein are the ideal starting point for your cycling holiday in Carinthia: over 270 km of car-free themed bike paths and the Drauradweg in beautiful surroundings will delight you. We offer perfect conditions for mountain bikers, e-bikers and road cyclists in the region "Klopeiner See - Südkärnten - Lavanttal". A lockable bicycle storage room is available for your bicycles. In addition, we have about 25 bicycles for rent (partly free of charge).
Flow Country Trail / MTB ZONE Bikepark Petzen
The Flow Country Trail on the Petzen is the longest flow trail in Europe with a length of 11 km. The track was named the best flow trail by the International Mountain Bike Bicycling Association (IMBA) in 2014. With the bike on board you can comfortably ride up to the entrance of the trail with the cable car. On the way towards the valley, bikers can really relive and prove their skills.
Tunnel biking
In Slovenia, Mesica, 15 minutes drive from the Petzen valley station, bikers with a pit lamp and helmet can enter an exuberant lead and zinc mine. Without major differences in altitude, the more than 5 km long underground path leads through the mine, where the bike guides explain a lot of interesting facts about the ancient history of mining.
